The Knickerbocker Saloon, Indiana’s oldest bar, has stories to share. President Grant, Mark Twain, Al Capone, and Neil Armstrong have visited us for a drink (or several) over the 180 years we have been in business.
Established in 1835, the Knickerbocker has been serving Greater Lafayette (and visitors alike) an array of cocktails, beers, and wines, all with our renowned hospitality.
Whether our guests are looking to enjoy a drink or two conversing with friends on our patio, have us cater a private event, or want to have a night out listening to Ryan Rollins (When he’s in town from Key West), Knickerbocker’s own Piano Man, an Acoustic Series set, or some upcoming local talent, we have you covered. We have also added dartboards, shuffleboard and a billiards table to our entertainment room for all to enjoy. Need some food while enjoying the Knickerbocker? The Knickerbocker 🎼 is a full service bar opening up at 4 PM daily and closing at 3 AM. Our bartenders are professional, and know how to make a cocktail right. We offer private parties on premise, and beverage catering off premise, as well as live music, karaoke, and food service from Digby’s Pub and Patio.
